at my last appointment i tired to explain that my eating and purges had gotten worse, only to be told you are 27yrs well im not im 26yrs but i never look at age, i feel way to young always have done im not clever enough etc to feel older, when i mentioned the eating prob worsening was told you are old you should know how to look after yourself :weep: that doesn't help my problem its taken other i can't help it even when i do try and my harming etc

if im considered old now i don't want to get any older, age shouldn't matter

it seems you have met with a very, very unsympathetic person! no one should be faced with age as an excuse to rebuff them! it seems hun that you will have to find someone else to discuss your problems with, i'm sure everyone here is happy to talk! :hugs: for you! i have also had problems with eating in the past and know they can be the most difficult habits to live with and kick!
