I started having panic attacks about 3 months ago which came from out of the blue whilst travelling to work. My main symptoms are a feeling of unreality, going 'crazy', dizziness and heart palputations - these have come from having about 5 years of full on stress. I have started seeing a lady who is helping me to channel my thoughts more positively and I have a strong support group of family and friends.
This site has really helped me think on the positive side and not the negative side which I have been doing and has also given me the courage to get back on public transport after two weeks of avoidance. I look forward to receiving other advice and information and am happy to talk about my situation and how I am dealing with it :D
