does anybody get this... i have been seeing a heat specialist for 4 months and literally ran many test almost all of them... they can back fine. However, last week i had and episode where i was just chillen watching tv and my heart started pounding and i freaked out it charted at 120bpm. This has happened before one time when i was really dehydrated... but i don't know. Now i am really anxious which i know doesn't help.
thanks for listening,
mae

Hiya mae,
The good thing is that the tests came back fine. Might have just been a blip. If it keeps happening just pop back and see your doc again, but it's probably just anxiety.

take care

This happens to me all the time and the more I pay attention to it...the worse it gets! Dehydration is a huge factor is heart rate. Be sure to drink plenty 8-10 (8 oz) glass of water everyday! That will help a lot! Be reassured that all your tests came back normal. Try some relaxation breathing, it helps me.

P.S. 120 isn't all that bad. Normal resting adult heart rate is 60-100. Your heart is capable of beating much faster (e.g when working out, etc) My heart rate has gone into the 160's before due to anxiety!

Plus don't worry your heart can go all the way up to 200+bpm and still be fine. Just ignore it if you can.
