Hey everyone,

I had some blood tests last week for arthritis and the doctors have phoned me today to ask me to make an appointment to go in and discuss the results...i'm going in at 6.00pm tonight.

This has resulted in a major PA...i feel as though i've been given a death sentence and i'm convinced that the blood test has shown something terrible.

I'm so scared and shaky and i was having a better day today. Sorry i just really needed to get things off my chest.

They always do this with me to go through the results slowly and explain it all.

I am sure it will be fine so try to remain calm till then ok.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks everyone for your support. I waited 15 anxious minutes after my appointment time to see the doc :( and apparently i have tested positive for an arthritic condition maybe ankolysing spondilitis...

The doc has referred me to a consultant, so at least its not as bad as i thought.

Amazingly, the dizziness, headache, dry mouth etc. have now all disappeared...till next time lol.

Anyway thanks again everyone for your posts, it really helps. Now i've just got to overcome my fear of flying when i go to Dublin tomorrow lol.

Maddie

Great news that it wasn't anything serious and something that you were kind of expecting. I hope all goes well when you see the consultant.

Good luck for tomorrow as well - hope it goes ok.
