:)HI There,
My nane is Penny,I have Introduced myself on the
New Members Forum, so please read it if you want to
know more.

I feel that this Group is really concerned with the way
that the other Members feel, everyone's chat is very
caring and you can feel that they do want to really
help each other with their problems.

I'm a Mature Lady, and over the years I have had
every Symptom that you can think of, however, with the
Self Help, which I'm for 100%, managed to really
help myself to reduce the Fears, to know that the things
I think will happen, NEVER HAPPEN.

So over the years, even though I do get the Panics,
I can deal with it, there what I call mild Symptoms.

I now, because off the Tensions through the years,
do get terrible, Head and Neck Tensions.

I feel SO much tensions in the Head and Neck, that it
does interfere with the Balance some times.
Like Edward said in his post, the head feels
as if it is Bobbing, Moving.

I tend to walk with the Head down and so find it very
difficult to look up.
When I'm at home and need to get something from the
cuboard in the Kitchen, it is sore to look up,
and when in the Supermarket, looking at the things that
are high up, gives me problems too.
This can cause the " WOBBLES " which is not very nice.

I'm wondering if any one can tell mo of some gentle
exercises that I could practice.

I cannot afford to go for Treatment, so would welcome
your suggestions please.

Keep up tht good work on here.

Love
Penny,

hi penny,

ime glad youve found our little haven, there are,as you say so many kind, and caring people here.

as far as your neck problem goes, there could be a few reasons, one being stress/anxiety,which i will leave to meg to advise..you say you walk, eith your head down, this alone, will put a strain on your neck muscles,so try to keep your head up,if possible.

you can try gently rolling your head, first clockwise, then ante-clockwise,you will probably feel a crunching sensation at the base of the neck, this is the build up of tension, and this exercise is to release that tension.

warm your hands, and gently massage the back of your neck, starting at the base, and going up to the crown of the head.

massage,by an expert, should give wonderful relief, but it costs money...so ask a partner,or good friend, just to gently kneed your shoulders, and neck,it also should help..maybe your gp can recommend someone on the nhs.

there are other exercises, that i know work, but you say your a mature lady,so its best not to advise too much online,i hope this helps..best wishes..bryan.
