I suppose I have what's called Globus Hystericus, the infamous tight throat feeling. Recently, waking up relatively early for me 8 or 9 in the morning I go downstairs make my breakfast and a coffee. However, (this is a little gross, I apoligise) with the last gulp of coffee I always end up gagging it back up. I will fully swallow it, but, I think it gets stuck in my throat or oesophigus and my gag reflex crops up.
It's not a serious problem, I don't think, just a result of retracting throat muscles, but it sure as hell very unpleasant, and sometimes it isn't liquid that gets stuck there, so I supose there's the added bonus of choking.
Has anyone else experienced this?
