Hi all,

I have suffered with being short of breath when I am talking especially when feeling anxious. I have finally learnt to control this by relaxing the parts of my body that get tense and remembering to breathe rythimicly throughout the anxiety provoking situation. I have used deep muscle relaxation cd's and breathing meditation to help me conquer this, it took time but well worth it. The other tip to do is to ensure that you don't avoid anxiety provoking situations, get into it, relax and have an open positive mind, you will get thru it. I have taken Citalopram and I am currently having CBT therapy which also help considerably!
