coming off citalopram 20mg

Hi ive been taking citalopram 20mg in mornings for about 4-5 month now,and 2 days ago i came off them completely going cold turkey,i havent had any side effects for coming off them,has any1 had any side effects of coming off them cold turkey?

I will be very suprised if in a few days you dont start to get the discontinuation syndrome of coming off these drugs.It does vary from person to person but usualy by reducing the ammount slowly would have been a better option.That said ,I wish you continued sucess and well done. Suexx:hugs:

I second what suzy-sue said. you are only 2 days into withdrawal, that said I have heard of a few that have come off cold turkey and got nothing. i came off over 3 months and got no symptoms. Everyone is different though. If you are okay then great, but just see what happens xxx
