I HAD MY FIRST PANIC ATTACK WHEN I WAS ON SPRING BREAK IN 99 I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL TWICE AND THEY DID TESTS AND EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL, THEY TOLD ME I WAS DEHYDRATED. I CAME HOME AND I WAS OK AFTER 2 WEEKS.

I HAVE HAD SMALL PANIC ATTACKS THROUGH THESE 6 YEARS BUT THE LAST YEAR I HAVE HAD THEM RELLY BAD. I WENT TO THE DOCTOR BACK IN MAY TO FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME AND SHE PUT ME ON PAXIL 20MG AND I HAVE BEEN SEEING A THEROPIST EVER SINCE ONCE A WEEK. THE PROBLEM IM HAVING IS NOT RELLY MY PANIC BUT THE WAY I FEEL SOMTIMES LIKE THE LAST WEEK I HAVE BEEN FELLING LIKE
1.DEREALIZATION -- THE HARDEST TO DEAL WITH
2.DIZZYNESS
3.DEPRESSED-- CAUSE IT GETS WORSE FEELING SOMETIMES
4.HEAD IS VERY CONJESTED
5.THE FEELING OFF GETTING OUT OF CONTROL.
I HAVE FELT THIS WAY BEFORE AND IT WILL LAST FROM A WEEK TO A MONTH AND IT WILL GO AWAY FOR A COUPLE WEEKS WERE I FEEL LIKE IM GETTING BETTER AND FEELING NORMAL THEN THIS FEELING COMES BACK.

I HAVENT BEEN HAVING PANIC BUT WHEN I START FEELING THIS WAY I START TO GET ANXIOUS. CAN SOMONE PLEASE TELL ME WHATS GOING ON CAUSE THIS IS STARTING TO GET SCARY. THANKS,BRYAN

hello Bryan,

The symptoms that you are describing are very common amongst panic attack and anxiety sufferers. Derealization I think can be the most difficult one to deal with. All these symptoms really are just down to anxiety, nothing more.

Do you think the Paxil is helping?

It sounds like you are having extreme anxiety rather than going into full blown panic attacks
