Jaw Hurting

hey, my jaw really hurts when i move it. it started to hurt while i was eating some crisps, i was thinking maybe i rammed a crisp into the back of my mouth or something. any ideas? i'm starting to panic a bit. could it be serious?

Jaw Pain can be associated with many things. There are muscles and joints there and that is most likely the source of your discomfort. It is hard to know what is going on without knowing where the pain is. Since it began with chewing it is probably nothing to worry about. However if it keeps bothering you and doesn't get relieved from some ibuprofen, see your Doctor. I suspect it will resolve on its own over the next few days.

You could be clenching your teeth without knowing and this can cause jaw ache too.

hey, thanks for the replies, it does seem a bit better today so i'm hoping it will gradually get better.
