I was quite annoyed on Tuesday morning as I woke up to hear Sarah Kennedy discussing a recommended method of reducing depression was to walk in the country.
She then came out with -not that we have any of that namby pamby type of folk among the dawn patrollers-
I have not added quotation marks as it was quite possibly not exactly what she said, but it was pretty close.

It really annoys me when people (especially those in positions such as a respected broadcaster) come out with completely ridiculous comments as these.

I agree with the walking to help depression - no idea why she had to add the other bit though!

Hi Up a ladder if you feel so strongly about this then I would make a formal complaint to radio two. Others may have offended too.
