I have no idea how you meet new people without saying by the way I might panic and you my think I am strange

Does anyone know how you can meet new people without leaving the house?

i met my current boyfriend over the internet and 3.5 years later were still together, i also could not leave the house at the time, but wanting to see him made me force myself to go out :)
