Whee! There I was, symptom free for a month. Fa la la la laaaaa.
Then out of the blue, the terror comes back.
STILL have intermittant ovary pain (but have scan date: a week Monday) and intermittant low back pain. Not always. Sometimes.
Have had smear (2 weeks ago. Have to wait 6-8 weeks for results.)
Headache symptoms much less than they were. WHEE!
But here is my spotting problem: I have always had very brown discharge about 1/2 days before full flow of period. Am on day 3 of brown discharge and no period yet. I did some calculations and it's pretty much time...slightly early, but no more than about a day/two days.
So here I am, stressing out that ovary pain is linked to this spotting, and not being able to be logical enough to say "you always have this brown spotting 2 days before your period. So what it's a day longer? This time tomorrow, your period will have started."
WHY CAN'T I THINK THAT??!
Argh.
Terrible thoughts of undiscovered metastasized cancer plague me.
Watch this space for a red-faced post tomorrow night when my proper period starts....!
