Hey all,

I have just had my third seesion of behaviour therapy and my therapist has just informed me next week I will have to bring on a panic with her, so that the following week we can try and go out?!

I am now so worried as to having to bring on a panic, how I will have to do this, and how am i gonna let myself have a panic. Surely i wont let it go full blown?

Has any one else had to bring on an attack?

When I first went to see a counsellor she was going to do this by making me hyperventilate. In the end she decided not to but the idea is that they get you to experience panic then show you how to control it and calm down.

I expect she will get you do to the same.

thought of all the worst scenarios, tried hyperventilating.. alsorts and i couldnt panic!! so im not sure if that was a success or not!!
