For about a week or so I have had an ache in only where I can desribe as my liver. And yesterday just lower down than my liver on my right side I had a sharp stabbing pain that lasted about 8 hours and ibuprofen did not relieve. NHS direct told me to visit the doctor today.
I have booked in to see a Doc tonight however today the pain has subsided and now I just feel discomfort or like a tightening in that area.. and the occasional stabbing pain there but its not so much like a knife its more like a needle stabbing pain (am I making sense here? Feel like I'm babbling!)
Do you think it is a good idea for me to still visit the doctor this evening? I do tend to appear in their office a fair bit with my health anxiety and I'm so scared of being the dreaded "heart sink patient" that all GP's seem to talk about.
