Hi everyone;

I thought it was about time I shared my problems with people who can relate to what I'm talking about.

I thought I had broken out of the cycle of panic but had a relapse today.

Hope this is going to help,

Andy

Hi Andy ,

Try to see it as a blip rather than a relapse, more temporary and getoverable..

If you can identify a tangible reason its easier to rationalize it.

How can we help ?

Welcome Andy,

Sometimes the most smallest of events can take us over and give us a blip.

We've all had plenty of those - including the ones who have recovered properly.

Cheers,

Ray

Hi everyone thank you so much for your messages of support;

Let me give you a little background.

I am 20 years old just about to go intop my second year at Liverpool Uni.

I just had to pull out of a resit exam because of my problems, and am pretty nervous about going back and this becomming a regular occurence.

Thats why today I went back to my GP who is reffering my to a shrink next week on my familys medical insurance.

I know theres no quick fix but I am hoping he can teach me some breathing exercises, as well as identifing the cause of my panic attacks.

Unlike others, my attacks seem to be random and can occur anywhere which adds to my anxiety.

The fact that I thought I was your typical happy go lucky uni student only adds to my state of mind, hopefully I can work through it.

:D
