Jaw pain thinking its Angina

Never thought I would be writing this :(....

Recently like tonight, I have thought my Jaw Pain is linked to Angina and not TMJ (which is what i was diagnosed with 2 yr ago).

Need help and reassurance.... cz it dnt help when u get pain in your neck aswell.

Why would you think it is angina?

That is chest pain.

jaw pain is one of the symptoms, i blame my mother for sayin tht to me one day last year :(....

But surely she had other symptoms as well?

Try not to associate one pain that was diagnosed with every other pain there is.

I had arm ache and it was nothing but arm ache and chest pain is a sign of heart problems - you need to have more than one symptom to get a diagnosis not just a passing comment cos that can cause you more stress.

I have TMJ... Are you under a dentist or maxiolfacial consultant?

I wear a mouthguard at night to help ease symptoms and it works really well, not sure if you now about them?

TMJ can pull the front wall chest muscles so you can experience pain around the chest.

When the muscles tighten around the jaw it pulls all the surrounding ones to...

Thats why we experience neck pain/earache/front chest pain etc...

TMJ is NOT a harmful condition but can be very uncomfortable.
