i ahvent posted anything for a couple of weeks but i have been quite busy and trying to focus on feeling a bit better, which i was starting to but these last two days i have been feeling awful once again and i think my period id due failry soon, i really do feel so much worse when i am close to my periods....today at work i just felt more and more panicky to the point where i had to leave. i am at home now and i am so restless i dont know what to i am really dizzy and feel out of it...

well when i sai was feeling better things were a bit crazy last week, went to see my psycotherpaist last week and was quite down and he decided that maybe i need a rest and referred me to the local hospital so i could be admitted, i spoke to a person there and after assessment it was decided that i am not a risk to myself ie i have not made plans to hurt myslef so it would be counterproductive to let me have a rest as i migth just give up! god what a nice thought....i did take a few days off work and was quite busy, i went out clubbing twice. the second time when i went out was when i started to feel bad. i cried in the taxi on the way home. but i dont know the reason, does anyone else suffer badly around their periods?????

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.
How big is your gallery ?

Yeah periods affect me big time and the anxiety rises to a level i hate.

I think that it is great they dont want you to go into hospital shows how well you are doing. I know your psycotherpist referred you but the professionals at the hospital saw how well you are coping through this. Pleased you took a few days of work and you got yourself out. I know the second time you didnt feel too good but you pushed yourself and made yourself go out and how many of us give up rather than make the effort to go out.

its always worse for me at this time and i have often wondered why that could be, and if hormones could somehow play a part for the overall reason for anxiety.

anyone have a clue?

Hi

This is my first post so I hope it makes sense-
I noticed a pattern to my anxiety so started to keep a diary and my really anxious day were nearly always the day before and the first 2 days of my period, I mentioned it to my doctor and was told how 'normal' this is and that it is a symptom of PMS, She recomended I try Primrose oil which is what I've done with a slight improvement. It may be worth mentioning it to your doctor as there are things that can help - like certain contraceptive pills
Good luck
