Hi ive had PA's for years iam doing ok now but iam fighting back, one problem iam experiencing is i have just started a body pumps class which lasts for an hour and iam sort of scared of having a PA during and after exercising is this safe if i do ? iam not going to have a heart a attack or anything ?

Hi Scott,
Actually exercise will help alleviate anxiety symptoms. You will definitely not have a heart attack!

one thing you have to know as a fact...the arousal symptoms of anxiety/panic attack are not a heart attack...they never will be, no matter how much you dwell on it

Just to clarify, I didn't mean that exercise will stop your panic completely. What I meant was that studies have shown that exercise releases chemicals in your brain which counteract panic/anxiety so exercise is in fact good for people who have issues with anxiety.
