Weid Visaul Disturbances

I have been experiencing this weird visual disturbance over the last 6 weeks that wont go away. I have had a retinal detachment in my right eye and lsot the sight to that eye over 20 years ago Now im experiencing this flickering light in my peripehral vison in my good eye and have two spots in my vision not the central vision that look like small strobe lights. I also have this swirling llight that appears every now and then, it used to be white and now its a purple colour, Im 42 years of age, i have seen 6 retina specialists and they say my retina is intact. This is driving me crazy because no one has any answers to this, Can someone help, has anyone experienced this before????? these symptoms simply wont go away and its driving me nuts, i fear i will go blind...............Anxious

i get this with the light flickering they said it was because i have high anxiety and my brain is on full alert.

thanks so much for that reply i was wondering how often this occurs to you also at it is driving me crazy at the moment. Did you see an eye specialist about this?/

anxiety can cause visual disturbances and this may not be relevant to you at all but my mum gets floaters which are completely harmless so visual disturbances can me nothing other than getting older!
if the specialists say it is harmless they are though so try not to worry too much
