coming off lexapro

Off lexapro two weeks now afer 3 months on 10 mg per day. went to 5 mg per day for 2 weeks and then 5 mg every second day for 2 weeks. Not too mant brain zaps

I used to have to take an antacid tablet before i went on lex but for some reason i never had heartburn Acid Fflux while on Lexapro now its coming back since i stopped it!!!!
what gives

Hi There, I was on 20mg for a couple of years then down to 10mg and am currently on 5mg with the odd 10mg if i feel bad. If I try to go lower, I get awful brain zaps, I feel like I need to 'wash' my brain, dizzy, anxious etc.

I am the opposite to you tho, I get bad heartburn with lexapro. I used to take antacids all the time, but stopped. Its kind of under control now. Maybe ur heartburn is related to ur anxiety and thats why u didn't have it when on lexapro? Good luck tho!! How are you feeling now?
