Hey!

Ive finally collected my lovely blue wristband from my post office and wearing it with pride at work.

But can someone please tell me what the letters stand for?

Also, dont really want anyone at work to know what it represents as they will make judgements so now I am panicking about what to say?

Help!

Antoinette.

f-flippin (or anouther suitable word lol)

i wore mine for ages and when people asked i just said it is support for panic/anxiety sufferers and told them what the letters meant and they would often smile as its quite cool isnt it... (the band that is not suffering from this)

Hey Rach!
You star! Thank you so much.
I do love it. And it goes with the pretty blue flowers embroidered on my skirt! ha!
Well this is a mantra I am definately going to repeat.
Its terrible though and not that I am embarassed to admit it, but I hate people just making assumptions of me when I say I do or they will judge me, esp at work - do you know what I mean?

Thanks for getting back to me though.
Have a great weekend.

Hi

Glad you got the the band ok.

You could tell people it is just a positive mantra that you use - to remind yourself to do stuff and not shy away from it. That way you don't even need to mention panic/anxiety etc.

JFDI can be used in so many situations I reckon.

I think these bands should be tight and made of elastic,, and when we have a thought, PIN it really hard,, so we are scared of the pain and the thoughts will stop.
thats my brain wave of the day. x

I love my wrist band... it helps me everyday when im having a wobble or bad day, it reminds me that i suffer from anxiety/panic and thats just what all the symptoms are.. not that i am about to die, which can come to mind through a bad attack!

I wear it with pride and when people ask, i tell them exactly what it stands for.. i am proud to wear this, because it means we are strong enough to admit we struggle, and are trying to fight this demon instead of curling up in a corner and doing nothing!

Its a great aid and everytime i look down at it at work or if im out and about... i smile and think 'im actually fighting this.... im going to beat it!' x

Just ordered mine, looking forward to wearing it with pride.

Stars you do have to give out your address (if you want it delivered to you anyway) but the ordering system is safe and easy to use. I'm very careful when making first time purchases online from stores I don't know, I assure you the ordering system is secure though :)

Hi

We have run out of bands at the moment. I need to order some more.

They are in the online shop though when available.

Not sure what you mean about the shop coming up with threads? Did you not see the shop itself?
