Hi all,
Found this forum and hopefully will make a few friends on it with similar mental problems that I have. Ive been anxious over my health for about the past 10 years or so but its only been recently that the anxiety has had any sort of effect on my day to day life. I suppose I never really thought of myself suffering from an element of hypochondria. It seemed to be i tried to blame my anxiety on other areas of my life. Ive been recently diagnosed with it from my therapist and CBT therapist, I tried meds (citalopram 20mg) the side effects on me proved abit too much so i stopped taking them. Now taking inderal and getting CBT which is really helping me. I seem to be getting far better now and bang what happens , swine flu epidemic, my partners dad has it and now im feeling really anxious about when and If I get it.
