Ringing in head/ears anxiety related?

Okay ive had ringing in my head/ears for over a week now. Never suffered it before.

Saw doc and they found nothing wrong with my ears etc. Doc said the ringing could disapear as quickly as it came.

Has anyone else had this and could it be anxiety related?

Please help as im going mad here!

It could well be anxiety related. I woke up the other night and had a horrible panic attack, my ears were ringing and my head felt awful. I had read about ringing in your ears on this site but had never experienced it before. Fortunately mine disappeared after a couple of hours when I managed to calm myself down.

If you are in a real anxious state/tense around your neck/head then it could well be as mine certainly was
