PM's in the chat room

Just a quick question for one of the admins please.

I understand that a record is kept of conversations in Chat which can be viewed by mods/admins but does this apply to PM's in the Chat room as well?

All chat conversations are recorded but only me and Alex have access to the chat logs directly.

Chat logs are NEVER viewed unless we get a complaint though

Thanks for the clarification. I must be honest, this has been mentioned to me before and I found it hard to believe as it was a "Private" message function, I was under the impression that nobody could view it except those that had conversed.
I didn't realise it came under the same rules as the public chat.

Lady - I understand your concern but we also have some form of liability whilst offering a chat room so we have to be able to make all conversations available should we need to.

All chat rooms have to record all conversations.

In that case I would like to put the record straight on a few points to the person I spoke to on Saturday in private chat:

(1) I don't really like to dress up as Dot Cotton at the weekends.
(2) I don't really own The Savoy hotel
(3) I'm not really 18
(4 ) The goat was unhurt
(5) I lied, it's half that size
(6) I have never really swum the Amazon dressed as Pope Paul
(7) John Lennon and I never worked as a duo in Hartlepool
