For me my vision is my most upsetting symptom. To have the world not looking the way it used to is paricularly disturbing for me.

For me my anxiety seems worse when Im in crowded situations such as supermarkets, city centre shopping etc. It feels like my eyes are trying to take everything in at once, instead of focusing on one thing it focuses on everything. In a supermarket everything seems glary like in 3D.

In Claires Weekes books she tells us that the eye muscles are vulnerable under stress and can cause all sorts of problems.

This is the worst thing about my panic. If I can get this under control I know I'm on a downward path.

Does anyone else have similar problems?

Yes, I have the eye troubles. It is funny that you say that things look like they are in 3D--that is exactly how I would describe it. Like everything is magnified or something---

I find that my eyes also ache a lot and I feel at times like things are somewhat out of focus--I can certainly relate.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

I haven't had a check up in a while.

I know its all down to anxiety because it didn't happen during my 'normal spell' last year. It makes me thing of those horrible drug memories again. It's hard not to focus on my anxiety when its in my vision!!

I know just how you feel for two reasons: floaters, been seeing them everywhere recently, and i also have mild Alice In Wanderland Syndrome which is where stuff you see is the wrong size/distance/shape. Eye problems are the one thing you cannot escape. You can chop your sore arm off and you can see a wound, but your eyes are all you have to protect you in the world. Its a scary thought. You just have to focus on the outside world more I suppose, try not to focus on your vision, if thats possible :L
