Does anyone else ever get anxiety attacks because someone they know or have seen on TV or in public has been sick or died that it's going to happen to you too? I know it's kind of bizzare but I get that from time to time.

Definately. I got this way a little about Michael Jackson.

Its like its hard not to internalise and personalise the info, its not logic but seems to hit at an emotional level.

Definately, I watch a program about someone with heart failure, I think I'm going to get heart failure. I have a conversation with a friend about an aquaintance who's been diagnosed with cancer, I suddenly think I spot symptoms of that type of cancer. I see one of those FAST posters about strokes, I think I'm going to have one (I'm 21 FFS and nowhere near the risk categories!).

It's one of those things that make me feel like I'm going crazy.
