Infected cut?

Have got a cut on my foot, long story short I picked at a blood blister and am left with a scabby bit. This was a week ago. I'm now convinced it's infected and am panicing - I'm sure I can see a red line on the other side of my foot and it's a bit sore as well - like a bruised feeling. My mum said it would throb if it was infected and it's not doing that? It's not really that hot either; but I'm dead worried now.

warm white vinager compress for 30 min. will kill infection. Vinager has natural anti-bacterial properties. It may sting, but it will help it to heal faster.
