Really nervous

At 3.15 today I have a dentist appointment for a filling. It's only a small hole, can barely see it but it must be on a nerve cos the last few days it has really been hurting.

Anyway I am pretty much scared stiff of the dentist. I have only ever had one filling and that was when I was younger and I was put to sleep because they took another tooth out at the same time.

I know they will probably numb it but I'm nervous about that too cos it feels like I am not in control and freaks me out.

Any words of wisdom?

i no its awful when we are scared but just try if possible to imagine your in another place doing something you really enjoy, it will be over in no time, best of luck

get some bach rescue remedy from the chemist..............good luck xx

I will try to imagine I am somewhere else and I do actually already have some rescue remedy somewhere, just need to find it! x
