I hope this does not sound to strange. Every evening, just after 3 pm; I begin to feel, as if I can’t breath. To the point; I think of calling an ambulance. Which, I have called, an ambulance, three times in the last four years.

My chest tightens, breathing becomes shallow, fast paced and very labored. As I write these words. It is 4:30 pm. I am using my up-draft machine. In my mind it helps. I also have a portable up-draft machine that plugs in a auto cigarette lighter receptacle. I never use it, but, if I do not have it in my vehicle, I think or believe - I can’t breath. If I see a movie where there is dust storm I lose my breath. It usually passes by 6 or 7.

I did not always have this problem. My breathing condition began to develop about five years past. Hoping, talking it through will help. Does anyone have any advise?

:welcome: to NMP. This sounds like panic/anxiety, but you would really need your Doctor to give a diagnosis having ruled out any other possible causes. I am glad that you have found us.This is a friendly place with great information.
