Noobie here!

I'm new (well, obviously) so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Linz, hi everyone, I've suffered health anxiety for 3 years and it didn't really used to bother me before but now (I recently became a mother) I feel I have a real reason to live and I'm terrified if I get the slightest symptom or unusual bodily sensation, and I always assume the worst. Hopefully I've found the right place to talk about these feelings, and can meet some like minded people who can give me the reassurance and support that I need.

hi linz, i too suffer health anxiety and i have 2 daughters and i know exactly what you mean about wanted to really live for the children. its a hard battle but this site has helped alot with my feelings and the support is great. hope you find it helps you 2. good luck, take care. debs. xx
