Hi I've had this before, but it's come back badly again 2 weeks ago.

Am basically struggling to breathe, my chest feels tight and I feel like I'm holding my breath.

It's so uncomfortable, it's making me feel anxious, irritable and totally lethargic.

I know it's only anxiety, and I should try and forget about it, but I almost feel like I get in a habit of doing it. it does go away eventually, but I've had it constantly fr 2 weeks now, and I just need reassurance. I've just lain on the sofa all day today feeling miserable.

Breathing exercises make it worse, as I get stressd if they don't work.

Please help

hay there...
yes you are right its all down to anxiety and the thing with that is the more you dwell on it the worse it gets...try to relax read a book anything to take your mind away...i think sometimes we get in habits of doing things even bad habits to ourselves try not too worry you know its anxiety that is causing all this it will pass...take care
