Question About Lexapro

I am not a drinker but I am going to a wedding this weekend and I know I will have a few drinks ... I have been on Lexapro for 2 weeks and i was wondering if there would be any sides effects if i drank or should I just NOT take Lexapro that night.

Hi Terri
I had the same decision to make last weekend so I asked my Dr.
The advice was 2 - 3 drinks only which I stuck to and everything was fine.
I don't think missing one dose would make much difference as it's in your system.
I started Lexapro about 3 days after you so I know where you're att.

How much are you on?
I take 5mg in the morning and 5mg diazepam morning and night.

It will be fine in moderation and if you do overdo it , you'll just feel rough the next day.
