i just stopped lexapro 20 mg last week, after being on it for about a year, and was wondering if anyone here has gone through withdrawal from this drug before. i know it was bad to just stop it cold turkey instead of weaning off of it, but i know that i hit tolerance and it was not helping me anymore.
i know that people's withdrawal experiences vary, and i already found several sites that list many different symptoms you can get after stopping lexapro. actually, a lot of the symptoms that i have now are the same ones i had after i stopped clonazepam last October, even though lexapro is supposed to be much less addictive than benzos (whatever). i'm just looking for some feedback.
