I've been having anxiety off and on for the past two months.. sometimes i think its gone and then it comes back with something really scary like last night, i was walking down the street and i got this overwhelming sense of dread and realised that all the people walking by me would die at some point.. i went home and thought i was over it but then i was trying to go to sleep and all these horrible and really scary images were going through my head and i couldn't fall asleep, i was terrified and now i'm quite scared of going to sleep tonight.. i was wondering has this happened to anyone else or am i going crazy??

You are definitely not going crazy !! It's just your mind working overtime. I have had the weirdest thoughts and been horribly panic stricken by then and later say to myself, well that would never really happen or why would I even think that? I really believe that when I have nothing tangible to worry about that my mind just wanders and I make up new things to worry about.
I think you will find that a lot of people here have the same problem. I hope that you feel better and if you need to chat I am here for you :)

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Hi Neonpink,

You are definately not going crazy. I have never had a fear of dying myself, but i do worry about the people i love and care about dying and that gets me into such a bad way. I can cry for hours at the thought of someone i love dying. If you ever need to talk, i am here for you as are many others on here. x
