Hi,

I have been recommended to try Vitimin B Complex and Balerian as a herbal remedy. Has anyone tried/had success with this?

Hiya Gregor,
I use a Vitamin B Complex and I have found it helpful.
I was told it was good for the nervous system and would help with energy levels and in my case I do think it has helped.

Do you mean Valerian? This is a herbal sedative which a lot of people seem to find helpful

I know the b vitamin's are good for your nervous system.
I eat flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds as they have b vitamin's and omega 3 too :-)

Hi,

I have had great success with Valerian root extract, the tincture. You can buy it in health food stores and although it smells like stinky feet, it is great in calming down the nervous system. I use it in tea before bed and in a water bottle throughout the day if I need it.

You just squeeze 30-40 drops in water or tea and it does wonders. You aren't really supposed to use it continuously, b/c you can lose the effect of it if you use it too much. It is like a natural sedative.

I sometimes wait a week and then use it again.

As far as the B vitamins go, take as much as you can, I use a multivitamin every day with B's.
