Advice please.....

My 9 year old has just said she feels frightened of something but she doesnt know what. Could be the Dentist next week, think shes worried about braces cos her teeth arent straight. hope shes not got anxiety........should I be worried? Angela x

Why don't you ask her if it is the dentist that is worrying her?

Sometimes kids pick up on our own worries too so ask her if she is worried about anything at home.

If you question her you may get to the bottom of it.

ask her to draw of picture of how she's feeling.
it might help you gain some insight.
