Residual Bladder!! worried!!!!

Ok i'm worried here:weep: :weep: :weep: !!! :( had to go doctors to pick up my results of the ultrasound. Ovaries, uterus and kidneys are normal. My bladder is ok, just that i have a residual bladder volume of 67cc!! my doctor said it was ok and not to be worried. I am due to see a urologist which my doctor has referred me to. He thinks that I have an irritable bladder!!!

My anxiety has gone through sky high and i'm peeing every 1-2 hours!! everything was fine and normal last week, and had no problems with my bladder. (This has been an on going problem with my bladder for the last year)

Any help would be appreciated :)

First - take a deep breath! If your Dr had thought there was anything concerning he would have had you in the hospital for testing! I am terrible about listening to my Dr when she says "not to worry so much" - I think she is just telling me that so I won't be a spaz! The truth is she is telling me this because it is the truth. Anxiety will do strange things to your system - when I am on an anxiety high I have to use the bathroom all the time!! From what you are saying here, I really don't think there is too much to be concerned about. Go to the urologist - not because there might be something wrong - more because they are specialists in that area!

Hi there, thanks for your response. I'm worried and i'm not!! my doctor is very good and told me not to worry. A friend of mine who does have bad bladder problem told me it is ok, and i'd have to have alot more than that for it to be considered 'abnormal'

Its just keeping my thoughts in check and not panic!!
