View Full Version : what's the difference between HA and OCD?

I can't really tell what the difference is in my case. I obsessively check my body for signs of illness and constantly worry that I'm going to get a serious disease or pass one on. OCD and HA seems to cover these symptoms so I'm confused as to whether I have some anxiety or an actual disorder - OCD.

OCD is usually associated with a routine of doing things a CERTAIN way because you fear that something BAD WILL HAPPEN if it's not done IN THAT WAY. Sorry to caps lock it out but it can read different ways.

Checking your body and constantly worrying about potential fatal illnesses is HA, no question about it.

Just exhaust all avenues of health checks to confirm your healthy and in time you will find a way to break the pattern/routine and things will settle.

Hope this helps as i have HA which has been left-over from 2 years serious illness from panic dissorder.

Take care :)
