So I went to the Dr. today just for a follow to see how I am doing with my Lexapro and everything is great. He may up me to 20 mg but said he would wait to see how I felt at my next visit (next month)

Anyway I am a little worried. My last 2x at the Dr. my BP was high. He doesn't seem overly considered about it he said it could just be me getting use to the meds. But about 2 weeks ago I was at my OB/GYN and my BP was was fiine 110/76

Today at the Dr. it was 161/96. And last month is was 156/91.
So of course this getting me all worried.
My Dr. told me to come back in a month and he will check it again.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

Hi Terri
Glad to hear you're doing better on your meds.
I think you'll find that your BP will settle down just as your Dr says

Hi Terri

Could it be that you are actually more anxious when you go to see your doctor? This often happens when people have their blood pressure taken at the doctor's.

Glad you are noticing some benefits from the medication and feeling a bit better.

hi terri

my blood pressure is allways high when i have it checked at my gp but when i am at home it is allways around the 110/68 ish - it could b that you are stressed when visiting the doctors ie : sat in the waiting room a long time (thats my biggest problem i hate sitting in waiting rooms).

im sure your bp will settle as your doctor dont sound to worried about it
good to hear you are doing well on the meds

all the best
