Brownish Spit??

Hey, I was just wondering something

Earlier I spat out my window (do it quite alot, i no I'm bad LOL) and i noticed there was there were bits that were slightly brown, me being scared i thought it might have been dried blood from my lungs :(

Anyways, I later realized i had drunk quite alot of Coke very shortly before, so my question is, can coke make this happen??

Coke definatley can make this happen! Its goes syrupy at the back of your tongue then goes bitty. If you use mouthwash after drinking coke it comes out in brown bits.

Coke,chocolate,coffee can cause discolouration of your saliva!

I drink a lot of Dr Pepper, and this happens to me also!

Coke turns it brown, red wine turns it purple, various other substances (usually those nasty coloured alcoholic drinks that seem to be marketed at kids) turn it blue, green, orange, red etc etc. Nowt to worry about :)
