Although this may be predominantly a female problem, a proportion of male suffer from this condition too.

Weeks ago, I had this worry that I could be suffering from this. Weeks followed of visits to the GPs for blood tests. The first set came back dodgy, but more tests had to be taken, further raising my anxiety levels.

Luckily, the 2nd set came back all clear, but it just goes to show that our symptoms might not always be related mentally.

A Doctor just got me booked in for a blood test re: a lump under the skin in my neck, and a scan after that. Somehow she thinks it's related to my thyroid.

I think I'm in the same state you were before your tests - pretty damn freaked out, even though the odds of it being something awful (we're all thinking C word) are quite low. :scared15:

Question: did you have a FASTING blood test or were you allowed to eat before hand?
