Sorry Another Twitching Thread

I know that twitching is very common with anxiety but is muscle jerking, like when your finger will slightly move or your toe, sometimes i feel my arm jerk, i also sometimes when falling asleep but am still awake will move my fingers or my arm will jump, my hubbie tells me not to worry but i can help worry. I also wake up sometimes in the night with numb fingers or hands i am so worried i may have ms dont know where to turn, 2 docs have assured me not but just wondered if anybody else experienced this.

Yep, i twitch and jerk a lot. Especially when i am either just sitting watching tv or lying in bed. My Hubbie tells me I jump and jerk alot through out the night too.

I think its a combination of anxiety and antidepressant side effects.

So try not to worry, I'm sure that the Doctors are right.

i twitch and jerk alot, ive got a constant twitch at the moment in my collarbone. but i do get them all over, i get them through the night which wakes me up and when i first started getting them i was terrified but i have been reassured many times from my doctor that they are due to anxiety and muscles tension.

I get twitching too, usually my toes or feet or little ones in my eye or lip, I think it's definitely anxiety hun. try not to focus on it try some distraction x

I also get allot of twitching mainly in my legs thighs and so on sometimes it feels like iv been walking for miles other days I dont get it at all.
I think its fairly normal

yep me!!! my leg jerks slightly & my little finger jerks slightly. & i always wake up with my left hand little finger & fourth finger completely numb. Do you sleep with your arm above your head or on the side which is numb? Look at this thread i started ages ago sounds identical to yours
