Sharp pain in chest!

Hi my name is cherrie,

I got really panicky last night when out of the blue I got a really bad pain in my chest like I was punched, it was so quick and my heart was in my mouth! It happened just the once but that was enough.Imworried now incase ive got something wrong with me. Ive had it before but it was years ago and not as sharp and painful, has anyone experienced this symptom?

I had several on Tuesday night - very sharp pains and then they went. They were bad enough for me to gasp but then then stopped so I don't know what it was. I was eating at the time so wondered if I was eating too quickly, for example.

Just one of those things that I get used to and it goes.
