My anxiety used to feel as if it was all over my brain like a massive grey cloud but now that my head fells clearer the Anxiety seems to have turned into a little knot of tension that seems to be sitting at the base of my throat/chest. It's hard to explain but if you have ever had heartburn then the place that heartburn starts is where I fell my tension. The panicky feeling seems to shoot up from this point that can make me have trouble swallowing or give me that horrible almost choking feeling when talking to people in a slightly stressful situation. My relaxation tapes help a lot, they let me tense and relax all my muscles but there is no real way to flex the tension away from within.

Diaphragm breathing eases it off but I was just wondering if anyone else had this type of symptom and could pass on some tips

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.
