Hi everyone I am new here so sorry if I ramble on.
Around 6 weeks ago I had to climb some steep stairs and i was so breathless and had chest pain I had to sit down. I went to the doctor who basically said nothing is wrong but am having an excercise ecg in 4 weeks time.
I told this to my psychiatrist and he said that I have to stop worrying. I done a bit of nursing when i was younger and he said that I know to much. I discussed all my symptoms and he said that I am not a candidate for a heart attack and my risk is so very low.
I am still worried sick, although now i seem to have left arm pain, I only get this really after i eat and if I think about it.
Has anyone else had this, perhaps I just need reassurance but I am totally petrified of dying
