Jump in the night??

Last night, im not sure what time it was but i woke up very suddenly and i was really hot. I really rushed to open the window but had no problem in going back to sleep. now i know this sound normal like i ws just hot but it wasn't, it felt very strange and something that has not happened to me before in the way it did. Any thoughts?

I also have a problem of feeling and hearing my heartbeat when i wake up in the night which makes me aware of it and i struggle to go back to sleep for a while. Any tips i would welcome and does anyone else feel like this?

It sounds like the brain doing that mad thing it does when it has to wake us cause it thinks we are falling or some mad thing hehe. I can't mind what it is called..infact two secs..I will do the dreaded google..

Thanks for that link I understand it now and it would make sense because i do have irregular sleep patterns.:yesyes:
