confused

I'm new on here and not really sure what to say. Been put on medication for depression but so far all iv had are panic attacks and other side effects. Hate talking about stuff like this and am hoping this might be easier than facing people. Just really confused about everything and not sure what to do or where to go next ......

Hi

Antidepressants can have side effects for the first couple of weeks. Not everyone suffers from this but i do know from experience that increased anxiety/panic/depression can be a side effect.

What meds are you on?

I am on sertraline 150 mg.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for replying, I'm on Citalopram 20mg but am feeling worse not better. My gpsaid i wouldn't have any side effects but judging my the way im feeling and the stories on here thats not true.

Feeling really shaky and panicy nearly all the time, which was never as issue before. Unsure of how to deal with this.
