Looking for new friends

Hiya, I've just joined this site, but suffer from social anxity. I'm hoping to move to north yorkshire soon and it would be great if I could meet some people in the area, and make some friends there, so I wont feel so lonely once I'm there.

I live in York. Lived here all my life and feel even though MIND and other org's give sufferers a chance to get together, there should be more social groups.

I dont live in your area but in Liverpool. I just wanted to welcome you to nomorepanic so WELCOME!
Ive found this site to be very helpful and dont know how I coped before. Its comforting to know there are others just like me and there's always someone here to offer help and support.
