Hi there - I have just found your forum and thought I would get in touch. Going through a particularly bad time at the moment and will be visiting the doc later today. I also have been on Citalopram on and off for around 14 years now but I notice from a lot of your posts that this is used to treat anxiety/panic attacks. I don't suffer from anxiety or panic attacks - i suffer from depression (mood swings, hopelessness, frustration etc sure you've all heard these before). Do you think I should ask for my medication to be reviewed and if so what do you suggest? I do seem to get quite a few side effects from citalopram but having read the alternatives they all seem pretty much the same.
